Wine 101.1 with Sommelier Jeffrey Reebie

February 20, 2018 (Tuesday)  6:30pm - 8:30pm

Characteristics of four popular grapes will be presented in a hands-on format. Italian Pinot Grigio, New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, Argentina Melbec, and American Zinfandel varietals will be discussed with specifics about labels (expressions) with examples from producers.

A glossary of terms will be available along with wine scoring sheets that can be copied and used anytime.

 

A Door Prize drawing for a product from Miss Mary's Kitchen will be held.

 Karla Lallas teaches us how to make her Italian Grandmother’s Cannolis.  She’ll share family recipes for the batter and the filling.  After cooking pizzeles with the Chef’s Choice Pizelle Pro, she’ll demonstrate how to roll them onto a cylinder and how to fill them. 
 Also included are printed recipes, a store coupon for use during the next week, a written evaluation of the class and a drawing for a Chef’s Choice Pizelle Pro
